In this course we will discus theories, techniques, and interventions available for client’s struggling with pregnancy loss.
Learning Objectives:
Participants will be able to:
List the risk factors associated with perinatal loss.
List the different types of perinatal loss and emotional implications of each.
Identify factors that impact the grief reaction.
Identify which grief theories fit best and how to use them to create treatment goals.
Identify what makes perinatal loss a unique type of grief and implications for treatment.
Identify additional presenting problems that may arise in clients following a pregnancy loss.
Apply these techniques and interventions to facilitate healing.
The course is ONLINE and SELF-PACED.
